Kirsty started working in general dental practice in 2009 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2011 at the Aberdeen Dental Education Centre. After qualifying, Kirsty enrolled in a number of courses to expand her knowledge and duties, including the NEBDN certificate in Oral Health Education, Impression taking and construction of study models, Fluoride application and Clinical Photography.
After moving from Aberdeenshire to London in 2016 to work in a multi-disciplinary practice, Kirsty found her love for Orthodontics. After gaining the NEBDN Certificate in Orthodontic Nursing, Kirsty was accepted to study Orthodontic Therapy at King’s College London, and is now working at Orthodontic Gallery in Essex as an Orthodontic Therapist. She has also completed her Level 3 in Education and Training and Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice. Kirsty is the tutor for our Extended Duties programmes and an additional tutor on the Orthodontic Nursing programme.
